Greetings, fitness enthusiasts! I’m Shahi, an 18-year-old on the path to achieving a Hulk-like body. My fitness journey kicked off when I was 16, about to turn 17. The motivation behind starting this journey was my struggle with an addiction, something quite common among teens these days. While I can’t dive into all the details, I’m here to share my transformation and the positive changes it brought.
I knew I had to break free, find a new me, and boost my brainpower. That’s where fitness stepped in, not for looks, but for a fresh start. My weapon? Crunches. Lots of them! Oddly, I believed that focusing on crunches would help me break free from my addiction (not scientifically proven, just my personal theory). After about two months of these small exercises on my couch, I began adding more moves like planks, bicycle crunches, and sit-ups.
Winter break brought a change as I moved to a new house with my parents, offering me a bit more workout space. Approaching the end of 2022, I made a firm decision to leave my addiction behind. I penned down my goals in a notebook and crafted a fresh workout routine. The very first day of 2023 saw me waking up at 6:00 a.m. and diving into push-ups. I struggled to hit 10 pushups in a row initially, but with time, things improved, and my push-up count increased.
While still maintaining my abs workout, my focus shifted to my chest. Positive changes in my body became apparent, and slowly but surely, my past addiction faded into the background. It’s true; you can genuinely forget something from your past. It wasn’t easy; my brain tried to pull me back to the old days, but I resisted and kept pushing forward.
Skipping the detailed version, as of 2024, my focus is on the upper body – biceps, forearms, chest, abs, and shoulders. I’ve achieved a decently fit body and can now proudly do 70 push-ups in a row. Currently, I’m working on my abs trying to get those six blocks.
I started this blog to show everyone that you CAN get the body you want, learn cool new things, and become a workout master, especially for your upper body! I’ll share my own story, both the good and the tough parts, to help you learn what worked for me (and what didn’t!). Plus, I’ll share pro tips and show you exactly how to do any exercise, so you can crush your goals with confidence. This is more than just reaching a goal, it’s about having fun, getting stronger, and learning awesome new skills together!
